MAM is pleased to present the Missoula Art Museum’s first ever Montana Triennial. Biennials and triennials around the world are intended to function as survey exhibitions of contemporary art that represent the cutting edge art created in a particular region, with works typically chosen by a respected juror or panel of jurors from outside the region. Montana and its cultural institutions have never attempted to host such an all-encompassing exhibition before, but following the reopening of the extensively renovated museum in September 2006, MAM felt uniquely positioned to host this significant regional survey within the new galleries.

31-Cent Scoop Night    May 9th 2011 12:00AM
Location: Baskin-Robbins (locally-owned) / 2 locations!

Baskin-Robbins is hosting the third-annual 31-Cent Scoop Night nationwide and will honor the National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC). For the event, we will be offering ice cream scoops, waffle cones, topping, and more for only 31 cents each. This third-year event is a great opportunity to honor America’s firefighters and ask consumers to donate to local fire charities nationwide. We expect Missoula firefighters to be on-hand with fire trucks/equipment and to speak with customers and fundraise for local departments.
