Celebrate the Resiliency of Downtown Missoula
DESPITE COVID, 12 INDIVIDUALS NOMINATED FOR DOWNTOWN AWARDS 2020-21
Since 1986 the Missoula Downtown Association (MDA) has been honoring and recognizing individuals and businesses that contribute to the vibrant life and connectivity of Downtown Missoula. While the pandemic will prevent the Downtown community from gathering to celebrate, fifteen individuals will be recognized and celebrated for their selfless contributions to a better Downtown Missoula. The six Downtown Award Winners will be shared with the Missoula community February 28 – March 4 by video on Missoula Downtown’s Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
Monday, February 28 (12pm) – Downtown Volunteer of the Year
Tuesday, March 1 (12pm) – Downtown Employee of the Year
Wednesday, March 2 (11:30pm & 1:00pm) – Downtown Committee Member of the Year & Downtown Board Member of the Year
Thursday, March 3 (12pm) – Downtown Business of the Year
Friday, March 4 (12pm) – Dan Cederberg Downtowner of the Year

Dan Cederberg Downtowner of the Year
One of Missoula’s most prestigious honors since 1986, the Dan Cederberg Downtowner of the Year recognizes an individual who has made Downtown Missoula a better place by his or her unselfish and extraordinary efforts, activities or contributions. Renamed after an extraordinary man who served the MDA Board of Directors for 34 years, The Downtowner of the Year Award is presented to a business owner, manager employee, staff member or professional affiliated with the Missoula Downtown Association.
